The Royal Marines  Commando Flash warn only by Royal Marines who have completed Commando Training.

In 1918 King George V directed that the senior recruit squad undertraining should be called the "King's Squad". Later he ordered that the best-all-round recruit in this squad should be awarded the King's Badge providing he reached a sufficiently high standard.
